Add Routing to an Existing Angular Project

When we first create an Angular app with the Angular CLI using ng new, it gives us an option to add routing. Sometimes we don't know whether we want to add routing yet, so we say no. What do we do, though, if we decide to add routing later? There's no separate CLI command to set up the routing for you. In this lesson, I'll show you how to manually add routing to your Angular application.

Thanks for the great resources. I've got a good start on Angular now. I have to admit though that this was kind of hard to find bc it's not an 'official' course. I know this site leans heavily on React, but I already have a membership and just found out my next client project is in Angular, so it made sense to start here.

Glad it's helpful, Scott! This is an evolving collection of lessons I'm adding to periodically. I'm also starting to turn these into blog posts and email them out, so if you're interested in keeping up to date on that head over to samjulien.com and hop on the list. Feel free to also keep in touch if you've got other lesson ideas that you feel would be useful.

Thanks a lot for this course Sam, I'm developing in angular for a few years, and always take a course on the bases, from time to time, to stay sure about that or something :p, mostly when I feel like an impostor, you know what I mean, and this basic course, has things that I never saw that way, thanks for your way of teaching, I think I've found a mentor... great newsletter too!
